Hello and welcome to A Blog by a Computer Dinosaur!
My name is Josef, and I’ve been working with computers for 35 years. I started in 1991, witnessed the decline of BBS systems, and saw the birth of the free Internet with my own eyes.
I began by modifying games on the ZX Spectrum and lived through the early days of gaming. Since then, I’ve enjoyed modding computer games and programming, but above all, I love digging into computer hardware.
Today, I work at Nvidia as a technical specialist, maintaining and supporting hardware and software systems.
I have extensive experience in repairing and servicing computer systems, and over the years I’ve developed an almost “auto‑repair” ability to diagnose and fix both software and hardware issues at a glance.
This is my blog, where I’ll be sharing stories from the life of a “computer dinosaur” and offering useful solutions for your computer.
